If you like the idea of a flat-faced aftermarket Apex trigger but don’t like the price associated with the upgrade then you’ll be excited to hear that Apex has just announced the introduction of a new budget-friendly trigger kit for the M&P 2.0 models of pistols from Smith & Wesson. The new Apex Tactical Specialties Polymer Flat-Faced Trigger lineup features the same patented flat-faced forward set trigger design but uses lower-cost polymer materials to bring the price of the trigger kit down by almost $70.

New Budget-Friendly Trigger Kit for M&P 2.0 Announced by Apex
The new trigger kit features several different color variations to choose from including Black, FDE, Red, Blue, Purple, or Thin Blue Line colorings. The trigger kit, when installed, will still offer approximately a 40% reduction in overall trigger travel as well as give your pistol a smooth uptake and a cleaner and crisp trigger break. In addition, the budget-friendly trigger kit will also reduce your overall trigger pull weight by 2.0 lbs.
On the price front, you’d normally have to fork over $170 plus shipping for one of the aluminum aftermarket trigger kits but the new polymer budget-friendly trigger kit will be sold from Apex for just $99.95. The full kit will come complete with the apex flat-faced forward set polymer trigger, an Apex Ultimate Striker Block Kit, an Apex Foward Set Sear Actuator, Apex Fully Machined 2-Dot Sear, and the Apex Forward Set Spring Kit which can be swapped out to provide you with two different triggers pull weights.
Like the aluminum versions of the Apex trigger kit, the polymer versions have also been tested with Apex’s 27 different impact tests from 6-feet onto concrete and have still been proven to be safe. Apex’s new budget-friendly trigger kit for the M&P 2.0 is available for pre-order now on the Apex Tactical website and will also be made available through some of Apex’s dealers, and distributors.
