Four new hunting-oriented optics have just been announced by Primary Arms as upgrades to their already existing SLx riflescope lineup. These new optics include the 3-9x40mm and 3-9x50mm, 4-12x40mm, and 4-12x50mm SLx HUNTER riflescopes. Each one of these optics has been optimized for hunting applications and helps to increase visibility on targets, and duplex-style reticles for precision shooting.

New SLx HUNTER Rifle Scopes from Primary Arms Optics
Light, strong, and reliable, our new SLx HUNTER Rifle Scopes are an instant classic and unbeatable value,” says Stephen Morgan, Primary Arms Optics’ Product Marketing Director. “No matter where the hunt takes you, these 3-9x rifle scopes give you the tools to chase almost any game.”
Fans of Primary Arms can also look forward to the upcoming release of the SLx HUNTER 4-12x40mm and 4-12x50mm Rifle Scopes. These two optics have many of the same outstanding qualities as the 3-9x model but with a larger magnification setting for extended sightlines.
The SLx HUNTER 3-9x40mm and 3-9x50mm riflescopes feature 1″ diameter body tubes and each offer different optimizations depending on what is more important to you. The SLx HUNTER 3-9x40mm is lighter in weight at only 15.3 ounces while the SLx 50mm version features a slightly enhanced exit pupil and superior light transmission and weighs in at just over 1lbs (18.2 oz).
Both of the higher magnification models (4-12X) offer the hunter the same construction, reticles, and quality control, but offer greater magnification for hunters who hunt at longer ranges or need higher magnification for spotting hard-to-see critters or identifying suitable animals to hunt. Each of the new optics will retail at a more budget-friendly $200 to $250 from the Primary Arms website. Let us know what you think of these four new optics down in the comments below.
